Teoria: Condicional Contínuo (WOULD + BE + ING)

Veja em ação:
John: "If I weren't sick..." (Se eu não estivesse doente...)
Ana: "I know. You would be working right now." (Eu sei. Você estaria trabalhando agora mesmo.)

Usamos a Condicional Contínuo para falar sobre uma ação hipotética que estaria *em progresso* em um determinado momento (ex: "agora", "às 5h", "se você não ligasse").

A fórmula é: Sujeito + WOULD + BE + Verbo com -ING.

  • O WOULD BE (e WOULDN'T BE) é usado para *todas* as pessoas.
  • Contração: 'd be (Ex: I'd be working, She'd be working).

Exemplos Práticos da Estrutura:

Para todas as pessoas (I, You, He, She, We, They):

  • Afirmativa: I would (I'd) be traveling.
  • Negativa: I would not (wouldn't) be traveling.
  • Interrogativa: Would I be traveling?
  • Afirmativa: He would (He'd) be sleeping.
  • Negativa: He would not (wouldn't) be sleeping.
  • Interrogativa: Would he be sleeping?
