Teoria e Contexto em Ação: Presente Contínuo
Veja em ação:
John: "Hi Ana. Are you working on the report?"
Ana: "Yes, I am working on it now. My boss is waiting."
Usamos o Presente Contínuo para falar de ações acontecendo *agora*, no momento da fala, ou ações temporárias.
A fórmula é: Sujeito + Verbo to Be (AM/IS/ARE) + Verbo com -ING.
- AM: Usado com I. (I am working)
- IS: Usado com He, She, It. (She is working)
- ARE: Usado com You, We, They. (They are working)
Exemplos Práticos da Estrutura:
Para I:
- Afirmativa: I am eating.
- Negativa: I am not eating.
- Interrogativa: Am I eating?
Para You / We / They:
- Afirmativa: They are studying.
- Negativa: They are not studying.
- Interrogativa: Are they studying?
Para He / She / It:
- Afirmativa: He is sleeping.
- Negativa: He is not sleeping.
- Interrogativa: Is he sleeping?
