Usamos o Presente Simples para falar de hábitos, rotinas e fatos. Para negar e perguntar, usamos os auxiliares DO e DOES.

  • DO: Usado com I, You, We, They.
  • DOES: Usado com He, She, It. Quando usamos "does", o verbo principal volta para a forma base (sem o "-s").

Exemplos Práticos da Estrutura:

Para I / You / We / They:

  • Afirmativa: I eat chocolate.
  • Negativa: I do not eat chocolate.
  • Interrogativa: Do I eat chocolate?
  • Afirmativa: They work here.
  • Negativa: They do not work here.
  • Interrogativa: Do they work here?

Para He / She / It (Note o '-s' na afirmativa e o uso do DOES):

  • Afirmativa: She eats chocolate.
  • Negativa: She does not eat chocolate. (O verbo 'eat' volta ao normal, sem 's')
  • Interrogativa: Does she eat chocolate? (O verbo 'eat' também volta ao normal)
  • Afirmativa: He works here.
  • Negativa: He does not work here.
  • Interrogativa: Does he work here?
